Disability Service
The Disability Service helps USW students who have disabilities, including physical, sensory, mental health or unseen disabilities.

Health Service
The Health Service supplements the services of your GP and the NHS. You must register with the Health Service before booking your first appointment.

Book an appointment with a librarian who specialises in your subject area.

Progression Advice Team
If you encounter difficulties while studying at USW, the Progression team can help guide you through your options and look at a holistic support plan. 

Student Money Advice Team
Are you experiencing financial difficulties or problems with your student funding?  The Student Money Advice Team can help.

Study Skills Service
Book a Study Skills appointment to speak to an academic skills or maths tutor on a one-to-one basis. 

Wellbeing Service
If you are struggling with your mental health and would like to talk to someone about the support available to you, book a Wellbeing Advice Appointment, with the Wellbeing Service
NB: It's not possible to access counselling or other 1-1 mental health support from USW without first attending a Wellbeing Advice Appointment. 

Booking an appointment


Use the button to go to Advice Zone Online and start the booking process. 

Inside Advice Zone Online choose the appointment you want from the list, or search using a keyword.

Services are offering appointments through a range of contact methods, eg via telephone, Microsoft Teams or on campus (face-to-face). You will be asked to choose a contact method from those available during booking.

Please let us know at the time of booking if you require the appointment through the medium of Welsh or English.  Please note, it may be necessary to arrange for a simultaneous translator to be present.

Cancelling an appointment

Please read the appointment rules to ensure you are cancelling within the required timeframe.

To cancel an appointment, log in to Advice Zone Online appointments and in 'My Booked Appointments' select 'Cancel'.
