Your student ID card acts as a proof of identity, library card, enables services and facilities access and entry to University buildings.
As a new student, you will need to have enrolled online before your student ID card can be printed and issued.
The following Advice Zones will be open during the weekend of arrivals for students to collect their student ID cards:
Treforest Campus Advice Zone (issuing cards for
Treforest, Glyntaff and Sport Park students)
Cardiff Campus Advice Zone (issuing cards for Cardiff Campus students)
Please note, for new Home and EU students, your student ID card can be collected from your Advice Zone at your campus of study from Monday, 12th August 2019 to Friday, 20th September 2019, 8.30am to 4.30pm.
If you are an International student, your Student ID Card will be issued following your personal enrolment check being carried out at Pontypridd Campus, room H003, Hiwaun Building.
You’ll need to have enrolled online, collected and scanned your student ID card in order for your student loans to be released (if you are eligible).
If you have collected your student ID card at least four working days before the start date of your course then you should receive the loan in your bank account on the first day of your course.
If you have not collected your student ID card before this it will take four to six working days after you have collected your student ID card for you to receive your loan.
